I've heard this quoted before but when I heard it this weekend I wrote it down in my notes.
It's true and fits for any relationship.
with my kids
my husband
friends
even with God
It takes effort on my part. It doesn't just happen by chance. It's intentional.
And the reward's are far greater than any initial effort put out on my part.
