Oh yeah _ it's Paula Deen!

Remember that time we tried to finagle {one of my made up words} our way into Costco because Paula Deen was there doing a book signing and we really wanted a signed cookbook. I mean how cool would that have been to have her signature 

on her cookbook_ my cookbook! Only we don't have a membership at Costco.

So we got in, but we couldn't purchase anything without having a membership...bummer. It was after church yesterday when hubs comes to me 

and says that Paula Deen is over doing her book signing for only a 2 hour time slot. 

It literally is across the parking lot from church so we HAD to go over and see. I HAD to hear that laugh of hers in real life. My kids were excited too.... it was cracking me up. The line was wrapped around the whole outer part of the store but ya'll she looked just beautimus sitting up there with her hubby talking to everyone and taking photos. We stood and watched her for awhile and we got to see these 2 old ladies come through the line with hats on that had butter boxes strapped to the front of them. 

Paula got a kick out of that and asked if she could sign the boxes of butter... she's just a doll. Then someone asked if a butter company had ever contacted her to represent them and she said "never." Never had any butter co. ever contacted her...go figure.??

As we were headed out middle asked if I wanted to get my photo in front of her bus. And I thought what a great idea.... because having your picture taken in front of Paula Deen's tour bus just makes life a little more lovely. ;)
