Found {Filters}

I found God in this Insta-Gram picture over the weekend.
The prompt was to take a picture of your neighborhood. So as we were headed out of town, I quickly rolled down the window and got this shot. I chose a quick filter from the bottom of Insta-Gram and voila my photo was done. After seeing it finished all I could think about was Thomas Kinkade. My dad used to love his work and one year for Christmas I got him a book with a collection of his paintings that I now own. Consistently, I pray that God would break my heart for what breaks His_ that He would give me eyes that see what he sees_ and ears that hear what He would hear. I pray that I can see like how we see the second picture with that filter on.

But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.
Matthew 13:16-17

~I’m excited to link up today for the first time with Beautifully Rooted. This new link up on Wednesday’s is called Found and it’s simple, in that all you need to do is post a photo of where you found God in your week. So come link up if you haven’t done so already.

 Happy Wednesday Ya’ll!

  2. What a wonderful way to look at it...so true. It really is a beautiful picture! If only we can see how God sees! What wonderous beauty we will behold. I have a quote on my desk at work from Brandon Heath lyrics "give me your eyes for just on second". It's funny how many people ask me about it :)

  8. We all need a filter like that - to see things with God's eyes.
